Call for Special Session Proposals

IC3AI 2026 will provide an excellent forum for the dissemination of the latest research and ideas in a wide range of Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Emerging Technologies. The conference is keen to disseminate state-of-the-art knowledge on specialist and emerging topics related to the theme of the conference through dedicated Special Sessions.

Submission of proposals for such Special Sessions for IC3AI 2026 are welcome.

Guidelines for Special Session Proposers

The Special Sessions should provide the conference attendees with an insightful view of research topics that are not covered by the regular tracks. They can also be focused on particular research niches within the broader theme of a regular track; however, it is important that such sessions offer sufficient distinction from the main topics.

Therefore, the proposers are invited to clearly highlight the difference between the contents of their submission and the regular tracks. Special Session Organizers are expected to actively promote their session within their professional networks to ensure good participation.

Having an invited paper or presentation is strongly encouraged as it helps attract more interest. Accepted Special Sessions will consist of 4–6 oral presentations.

Types of Special Sessions

(a) Special Session with an Invited Presentation

The organizers will invite leading researchers in the topic of the Special Session to deliver oral presentations during the session. The organizers must provide:

  • Name(s) of presenter(s)
  • Email confirmation of participation
  • Abstract of the presentation

No full paper is required, and the abstract will not be published.

(b) Special Session with an Invited Paper

The organizers will invite leading researchers to submit full papers and deliver oral presentations. The organizers must provide:

  • Name(s) of presenter(s)
  • Email confirmation of participation

The invited paper must be submitted before the deadline and will undergo peer review. It must demonstrate novelty and innovation. Accepted and presented papers may be submitted for publication in conference proceedings (e.g., IEEE Xplore, if applicable).

Note:

  • No financial assistance will be provided.
  • All organizers and presenters must register and pay the conference fee.
